TexChlor™ tablets, when added to 16 ounces of water, create a “bleach” solution (sodium dichloroisocyanurate) for cleaning hard surfaces, providing 1000 ppm available chlorine (the recommended strength for hard surface cleaning). This solution has an almost neutral pH, unlike typical bleach (sodium hypochlorite) which has a very corrosive pH >12. TexChlor tablets do not pit or corrode and leave no residue on stainless steel.
