Pre-Wetted Wipers for the Medical Device Industry
Medical device manufacturing is often conducted in ISO Class 7 or higher, non-aseptic controlled environments.
Whether your medical device is targeted for cardiovascular, orthopedic, surgical or diagnostic purposes, the cleanroom must be maintained through validated cleaning protocols that include wiping and mopping.
Wipers.
Since wipers often contact the device, the focus should be on visible fibers, final cleaning and terminal sterilization. Polyester knits are preferred for ISO class 3-5 areas; polyester/cellulose and polypropylene nonwoven wipers may be used in ISO Class 7 areas.
Pre-Wetted Optimal Levels.
Our pre-wetted wipers feature the same clean you've come to know from our dry wipers but saturated to optimal levels with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and deionized water (DIW).
Pre-Wetted wipers are now available in a new, reclosable bag. This innovative delivery system combines easy wiper access with an effective package to protect the integrity of the product during storage. The reclosable mechanism slides open easily for quick access to the internal security seal that keeps the wipers protected until ready for use.
Texwipe pre-wetted wipers offer several advantages:
